The Fiat Retreat is for young Catholic ladies ages 13 to 17 who wish to deepen their faith and actively seek God’s call in their lives. Participants will enjoy engaging activities, grow in fellowship, gain essential tools for their spiritual life, and more!

Vocations Soccer Cup

Sunday, July 26, 2026

The Diocese of San José is hosting the 2026 Soccer Games for Vocations.  New this year is the St. Carlo Acutis & St. Maria Goretti Cup, played by boys and girls Altar servers ages 13-17, who will compete in the first half of the soccer games.
The Priests and Seminarians will compete in a second soccer game for the St. Joseph Cup. This is an outstanding community event of family entertainment.

Welcome to the Vocations Web Page!

Our mission is the ecclesial, decisive commitment of every member of the Diocese of San Jose to pray, call, and lead our young people to a free, loving, and Christian response to the Call of God.

The Vocations Office helps individuals discern a vocation to ordained or vowed service to the Church, supports those who are exploring this call, provides training and education to those pursuing their vocations, and organizes retreats, resources, and events to promote and pray for vocations.
