December 15 – 23, 2020
Every year during the Advent, several parishes around the Diocese of San Jose host celebrations marking Simbang Gabi, the Filipino tradition of a novena of Masses offered during the nine days preceding Christmas Eve as a way of teaching the people about the birth of the Messiah. This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions, parishes will offer the novena via limited capacity outdoor in-person, livestream or Zoom masses, or a combination of both. All are welcome to join from their homes.
