Introduction to Family Ministry
In partnership with the Office of Adult Spirituality and Family Life, the Institute for Leadership in Ministry is pleased to present Introduction to Family Ministry — a formation opportunity designed for parish leaders who feel called to support families and nurture this vital ministry within their parish communities.
Marriage and family are the foundation of the Church and society as a whole. The family is where values are transmitted, and community is built. The Introduction to Family Ministry course provides parish leaders with essential training and formation, equipping them with contemporary skills and a solid theological foundation based on Catholic teachings.
The course consists of two sessions per week over three weeks, followed by one Saturday session focused on how to establish a parish team.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by the Institute for Leadership in Ministry and the Office of Adult Spirituality and Family Life. Additionally, the Institute for Leadership in Ministry will award an Advanced Certificate in Family Ministry to participants who have already graduated from the Institute.
