Father Jon G. Pedigo Appointed to Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County
Effective July 1, 2017, Bishop McGrath has appointed Father Jon Pedigo to Catholic Charities of Santa Clara, where he has assumed the role of Director for Advocacy and Community Engagement. In doing so, Father Pedigo continues his work on behalf of projects for peace and justice, engaging parishes and the wider community in this work.
This appointment will deepen the collaboration between Catholic Charities and the Diocese of San Jose, specifically the Witness efforts within the Department for Evangelization. It is hoped that it will result in greater awareness and increased efforts in the work of social justice in the Diocese of San Jose and Santa Clara County. Through this partnership, parishes will be able to engage in the work of social service and social change more effectively and so have greater impact.
