Who attends the rehearsals for the Rite of Election?
- the parish catechumenate director or his/her representative
- one person to carry the parish Book of the Elect (cannot be a godparent or the same person as the one reading the names)
- one or two people to read the parish’s names of the Elect (cannot be a godparent or the same person as the one carrying the book)
- Catechumens and godparents DO NOT attend these rehearsals.
