RISE! 2019 Adult Chastity Conference

Pope Paul VI’s quote: “Modern man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, and if he does listen to teachers, it is because they are witnesses.” If this is true, then RISE! Conferences are an effective way of achieving just that. RISE! Conferences bring in speakers that are true witnesses and who can engage audiences at all levels (Adults, Young Adults, and Teens). Being a witness is one thing, but the speakers that RISE! has invited are witnesses that know how to share their story in order to teach.
Perhaps one of the main reasons that young boys and girls cannot comprehend the true meaning of love and respect is probably because their friends and the Internet have become the source of truth. Through these exposures, they gain false understandings of their own human sexuality and seek relationships that they hope will fulfill what they claim to be true. These same young boys and girls will one day become fathers and mothers, and both will lack the knowledge in fostering the true meaning of love to their own children, and the cycle continues.
In order for young boys to have an honest understanding of their own sexuality and girls to have a sense of pure love, they must first understand the purpose of their creation which will lead into understanding their own human sexuality, which then will bring light to the meaning of love, authentic friendships and chastity. It is with this goal in mind, that RISE! Conferences sponsored by Our Lady of Peace has each year selected speakers that cover such topics.
