In this workshop, participants will learn how to use the web 2.0 tools Edmodo, educreations, and zaption to create personalized and engaging faith formation content using videos, discussions, quizzes and games for parents and youth/children to use at home in preparation and follow-up for learning with the catechist at the parish.

Jed de Torres serves as the Blended Learning Instructional Specialist for the Drexel Schools in the Diocese of San Jose. He is responsible for coaching and guiding teachers in the implementation of blended learning in the classroom.  Jed taught for 12 years at a Drexel School in the Diocese of San Jose.  During his teaching career, he implemented and integrated the use of technology in a blended learning environment utilizing the station rotation model with his students.
