Fr. Anthony Gittins takes us to the deeper purpose of discipleship: mission. He will address:

– What on Earth is discipleship?
– Moving from Religion to Faith

The presentation will be given in English with language discussion groups.

Fr. Anthony Gittins CSSp. A missionary, mostly in western Africa, the England born Fr. Gittins has proclaimed the gospel and shared his love of the Catholic faith in over 30 countries. He has spent 27 years working with homeless women. His advanced degrees include Social Anthropology. He served as a research scholar at Oxford University. He is currently Emeritus Professor of Theology and Culture at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago having taught there for 30 years. His written works include Called to Be Sent, Encountering Jesus: How People Come to Faith and Discover Discipleship, Where There’s Hope There’s Life, and A Presence that Disturbs.
