Ladies of Charity hosts its annual Meet the Author mini-fundraising event featuring Mary Jo Ignoffo, author of 6 books that provide in-depth and original looks at fascinating moments in history, on Monday, February 10, in Becket Hall at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 1522 McCoy Avenue, San Jose. Doors open with morning refreshments at 9:30am. followed by the Author’s presentation.

In her tell–all book, Captive of the Labyrinth: Sarah L. Winchester, Heiress to the Rifle Fortune, Mary Jo lays out her research and findings, and she shares the biggest deceptions surrounding one of California’s top tourist attractions.

Come and learn of the “mysteries” that attract thousands of people each year which Mary Jo reveals as manufactured by a family of 1920s-era carnies who first leased and then later purchased the property.
