An Evening with G.K. Chesterton

October 2, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Before Lord of the Rings and Narnia, there was G.K. Chesterton, the famous artist, journalist, novelist, speaker, and debater of 100 years ago, who deeply inspired C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. His vibrant and creative observations about Christianity and modern life are still fresh today.

Come and Join Us for a first hand encounter with this master of wit and wisdom, whom George Bernard Shaw called “a colossal genius”, and Pope Pius XI called “a gifted defender of the Catholic faith”.

A dramatic presentation featuring: Dale Ahlquist, President of the American Chesterton Society and Host of EWTN’s “G.K. Chesterton – the Apostle of Common Sense” and Dr. John “Chuck” Chalbert, in character as G.K. Chesterton himself. Free & open to the public, donations appreciated.
