“A Day of Spiritual Renewal & Preparation for Lent“ with Dan Schutte

Vallombrosa Center and renowned composer and musician Dan Schutte present a day of renewal and Lenten preparation for liturgical, music and formation ministers.
The workshop is designed for ministers who support and encourage the Lenten journey of parishes, including:
– liturgy committees
– liturgical ministers
– music ministers
– catechists
– and RCIA teams
The day will explore the major themes of Lent and include time for personal spiritual renewal and preparation for the new Lenten season. Music will be an important component during the workshop with many selections for Lent taken from Dan’s own extensive repertoire.
Dan Schutte is the Composer-in-Residence at the University of San Francisco. He holds two masters degrees from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA as well as three honorary doctorate degrees.
