SUMMARY:Support Group for Family Members of Incarcerated Persons
DESCRIPTION:The Diocese of San Jose\, through the Office of Restorative Justice\, has begun a new Support Group for Family Members of Incarcerated Persons.\nWhere: the Women’s Gathering Place\, 49 North 4th Street in San Jose. There is parking in the church lot.\nWhen: from 7:-8:30 pm every third Tuesday of the month. Next meeting will be June 21\, 2016.\nPurpose: to provide a safe nurturing place where friends and families of the incarcerated can express their fears\, problems and hopes with others experiencing similar challenges.\nContact: Merylee Shelton at 408-218-1928 or at merylee@sbcglobal.net for more information or if you plan to attend so she can better plan a light meal for the evening.\nThe rate of success for prisoners reentering society increases dramatically when family\, friends and the community continue supportive relationships. Help make our community the place of compassion and forgiveness Jesus envisioned.\nInvite those you know who want to be part of that community.
