It will start at 7:45am at St. Martin of Tours Church in San Jose\, and end at Our Lady of Peace Church in Santa Clara. \nThere will be a rest stop at the half-way point\, with facilities. A penitential meal will be served at the end of the walk. A vehicle will be available for assistance along the way. Transportation will be provided back to St. Martin’s Church. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the 2017 CRS Rice Bowl Grant Award Ceremony!\nOn behalf of the Global Solidarity Team of the Diocese of San Jose\, we would like to invite you to a special awards ceremony to honor the recipients of the 2017 CRS Rice Bowl Grants Program. Please extend this special invitation to your pastors\, principals\, faculty\, staff\, and entire parish and school communities.\nCRS Rice Bowl is Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten faith-in-action program for families and faith communities. Through CRS Rice Bowl\, we hear stories from our brothers and sisters in need worldwide\, and devote our Lenten prayers\, fasting and gifts to change the lives of the poor.\nSeventy-five percent of the CRS Rice Bowl funds raised are used for international development and twenty-five percent are available to be distributed locally for hunger alleviation programs.
