Holy Family School is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate educator to teach Middle School Math.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Establish and promote high academic standards within the classroom environment and meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Plan and execute engaging and effective lesson plans that align with California Common Core Standards
  • Serve as an educator who is supportive of a faith-filled environment and the development of middle school students
  • Be proficient in integrating technology into their curriculum regularly to enhance student learning
  • Maintain a positive and professional image consistent with the mission of Holy Family School
  • Cover assigned staff duties. Duties may include: recess or lunch duty, facilitating a mentor group, and/or teaching an elective. The administration may assign other duties that are site specific

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A valid CA teaching credential; however, if a candidate does not presently have a valid CA teaching credential, they will be required to obtain one within a time period prescribed by the Diocese of San Jose
  • Previous experience working with Middle School students
  • A strong, collaborative work ethic
