Personhood and the Medieval Imagination

This lecture will cover the theological and philosophical development of the term “Person” or “Personhood” from roughly Leontius via John of Salisbury, Anselm of Canterbury, Bonaventure, Thomas Aquinas up to Meister Eckhart. Fr. Emery de Gaál, PhD is the Chairman and Professor of Dogmatic Theology at Mundelein Seminary in Illinois. He is the author of “The Theology of Pope Benedict XVI – The Christocentric Shift”.
