Please join us on Thursday, November 5, 2015, 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. for Risk Management Training for Schools.  The training session will be held at the Chancery office in the St. Joseph conference room, second floor located at 1150 N. 1st Street in San Jose.

Who should attend?  All Principals, Business Managers, Administrative Assistants, Maintenance Supervisors and employees that handle any of the processes listed here.  If you have never attended a Risk Management Training or it has been over a year since your last training we highly recommend you attend.

This training is specific to risk management for schools.  Participants will be able to hear and share ‘real’ situations or activities, facility inspections and property maintenance, learn the best way to handle them, what paperwork is required and who to contact, documenting school assets in case of a disaster.  Here are some of the specifics that will be presented: Use of Facilities (TULIP, Agreements, Contracts); Certificate of Insurance (To us / from us); Property additions/deletions; Incident Reports (Students, Volunteers, Visitors, Theft / Burglar / Robbery, Vandalism / Graffiti, Property Damage); Volunteer Management (Waivers, Driving, Fingerprinting); Carnivals (Contracts, Vendors, Liquor).
