The Parish and School Student and Volunteer Accident Insurance Program is a secondary insurance policy that covers out of pocket medical and/or dental co-payments for children, young adults and volunteers who are injured while participating in a Diocesan, Parish or School sponsored activity or volunteer duties.

The Diocese of San Jose has moved to a new provider for this coverage, Effective August 1, 2019, Philadelphia Life Insurance will replace our existing coverage with Myers Stevens Toohey. Philadelphia Life Insurance has over 55 years’ experience in the Insurance business and will be providing the Diocese with more comprehensive coverage, simplified claim processing and a lower price.

All approved parish and school field trips within the United States are covered under this policy and no additional insurance coverage is required.
