● Participates in all required school activities
Requirements:
● Applied knowledge of effective instructional principles
● Experience working with students in a school setting
● High School Diploma; ECE unit preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports a faith-filled Catholic environment in both words and actions;
  • Manages student work and other classroom tasks during teacher-led direct instruction;

  • Provides subject area instruction to individual students or small groups of children as directed by the teacher;
  • Attends field trips with the class as directed by teacher;
  • Covers assigned staff duties, including recess and lunch, as well as other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the school administration;
  • Maintains absolute confidentiality over student and institutional information;

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or prior experience working in a classroom setting is preferred but not necessary
  • Substantive experience in working with elementary school children,
  • Possesses an understanding of children’s developmental stages;
  • Has a strong work ethic and a passion for their chosen career in education;
