DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the CRS Rice Bowl Grant Award Ceremony.\nOn behalf of the Global Solidarity Team of the Diocese of San Jose\, we would like to invite you to a special awards ceremony to honor the recipients of the 2016 CRS Rice Bowl Grants Program.  Please extend this special invitation to your pastors\, principals\, faculty\, staff\, and entire parish and school communities.\nCRS Rice Bowl is Catholic Relief Services’ Lenten faith-in-action program for families and faith communities. Through CRS Rice Bowl\, we hear stories from our brothers and sisters in need worldwide\, and devote our Lenten prayers\, fasting and gifts to change the lives of the poor.\nSeventy-five percent of the CRS Rice Bowl funds raised are used for international development and twenty-five percent are available to be distributed locally for hunger alleviation programs. DESCRIPTION:St Lucy is hosting it’s triannual marriage preparation retreat on Friday evening\, September 30 from 7-9pm and Saturday\, October 1\, from 8am – 6pm.\nEngaged Couples will go to their respective homes Friday evening and return on Saturday.\nCost for this Retreat for non-St Lucy parishioners is $150.00.\nCouples will receive a certificate of attendance. During the Retreat couples will hear from Senior Married couples\, answer small group & couples’ only questions\, pray with one another\, and meet other engaged Catholic couples soon to be wed.

Carnival games\, nerf tag\, inflatables (including hippo chow down) and a velcro wall will keep us all entertained! We’ll host a silent auction\, vendor booths\, as well as wine and beer booths.
