It is the primary ecclesial community for worship\, formation\, pastoral care\, and out-reach. This presentation will explore the realities of parishes today\, the opportunities that reality presents\, and the hopes that these realities present for the renewal of the Church of San Jose. Originally a native of New Mexico\, Fr. Joseph Benedict was ordained for the Diocese of San Jose in 1997 after completing studies at St. Patrick’s Seminary and University in Menlo Park. After serving in a number of parishes within the Diocese he completed doctoral studies in moral theology. \nRegister here.
