DESCRIPTION:At this annual diocesan liturgy\, Bishop Cantú will bless the Oil of the Sick (used for the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick) and the Oil of the Catechumen (used for the Sacrament of Baptism) and consecrated the Sacred Chrism (used for the Sacraments of Baptism\, Confirmation\, and Ordination). Each parish will send three lay representatives to participate and receive its annual supply of holy oils for the celebration of the Sacraments. This Mass is concelebrated by the priests of our diocese who publicly renew their priestly promises to serve.
