DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\,   December 10\, 2013\, Pope Francis will launch a worldwide movement to respond to the needs of the poor and vulnerable in our midst by praying and acting to end hunger. \nAt noon local time on December 10th\, a global wave of prayer will begin on the Island of Samoa and will progress around the world in each time zone until it reaches the island again some 24 hours and more than 164 countries later. \nThe objective is to unite the voices of the Catholic community around the globe to end the scandal of world hunger and all are invited to participate. \nPlease consider praying the attached prayer at noon on December 10 wherever you are and organizing your workplace or other groups to join you. \nClick here to download the prayer.\nCampaign Prayer \nO God\, you entrusted to us the fruits of all creation so that we might care for the earth and be nourished with its bounty. \nYou sent us your Son to share our very flesh and blood and  to teach us your Law of Love. DESCRIPTION:Once again\,   we are gathering to celebrate the Annual Layette Celebration\, Sunday\, December 8\, 2013 at 3:00p.m. at St. Martin of Tours\,   200 O’Connor Drive\, San Jose\, CA 95128. This year the event will include “high tea” and begin later. The hall will be open by 2:00p.m. for dropping off layettes or to set up your table (do not arrive before 2:00pm). The purpose of this event is to gather infant clothing and other baby items to help those families in need. Many people express their interest in helping by attending the event\,   by providing new items for the layettes\, or by donating money to the layette fund. Friday\,   December 6th\, we are open from 1-9 to the general public and beginning at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. we have special Early Bird Hours for Senior Citizens.
