DESCRIPTION:As we begin this new year\, I’d like to share with you a wonderful opportunity for prayer\, reflection and solidarity with the needy of our valley: the Poverty Simulation. I encourage you and your family to attend this Poverty Simulation. Children in 6th grade and older are welcome. \nThe Poverty Simulation is a unique tool to educate our community by role-playing the day-to-day realities of people struggling with poverty. It’s an opportunity for each of us to experience a taste of what the people we serve experience.
