CRS Rice Bowl

What you give up for Lent changes lives

CRS RiceBowl EnglishCRS Rice Bowl is a Lenten Faith Formation Program based on the Lenten practices of prayer, fasting and giving.  By participating in CRS Rice Bowl, you can make a change for the better in people’s lives, both throughout the world and in our own local community.  (For more information about how your contributions are being used locally, see below.)

As you learn about the challenges people face in global and local communities, (through stories, videos, recipes, and other activities) it will also change your life.

Catholic Social Teaching is woven through CRS Rice Bowl so that, as we learn about people and their challenges, we also reflect on our faith response. This is one of the unique features of this Lenten program for Catholics.

CRS Rice Bowl not only helps people throughout the world but it is also designed to build solidarity as we learn about different areas of the world, the challenges that people are facing, and specific programs that can change their lives for the better.
