We are the Diocese of San Jose, the Catholic Church in Santa Clara County. We are a sacramental Church and a welcoming community present to one another—to witness, support, comfort and celebrate—the most important moments in one another’s lives.

We recognize and respond to our baptismal call to stewardship, leadership and vocation in the Church and we invite our brothers and sisters to do the same. Because we recognize that God’s gifts are precious and intended for the care of all God’s people, we acknowledge our responsibility to use the gifts entrusted to us to form an ongoing and constant community of faith and support.
