Tom Boothe Bio:
Tom Booth has been composing music since he was a wee lad. When he was 17, he encountered the love of God in a personal and mystical way. His life's focus—and his music—changed forever. Since then, Tom has been on a journey of faith. And what a journey it's been!
Along the way, he went to college, majoring in music and religious studies, and got involved in parish ministry. Focusing primarily on youth ministry and liturgy, Tom has spent years helping young people and families discover God's love though music and worship. He has traveled extensively, sharing this same powerful love through song, story and prayer.
An incredibly gifted composer and musician, Tom has written songs that are known throughout the country. He has collaborated with some of the biggest guns in contemporary Christian music: Kathy Troccoli, Rich Mullins, Amy Grant and others.
He's composed and performed for Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II. His trophy case includes numerous Dove, Unity and Grammy awards and nominations, for both solo projects and collaborations.
He's worked in ministry with Life Teen, The Franciscan University at Steubenville, the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM), John Michael Talbot and the Brothers and Sisters of Charity, and many others.
Presently, Tom is a member of the Artists & Repertoire team at spiritandsong.com. Tom's continuing work with spiritandsong.com promises to bring new recordings, tours, concerts and other events. (Yes!)
Tom lives in sunny Arizona, where he and his wife, Tammy, are happily raising three wonderful children.
