Interfaith Prayer for Immigrants and Immigrant Families
St Julie's Catholic Church, hosted a Vigil Prayer Service with Bishop Patrick McGrath on Friday February 26, at 7 pm. It was an interfaith, area-wide prayer for immigration reform that reflects our basic Christian values. We prayed for faith, hope and unity for all who are torn apart by our broken system. The postcards that were signed during these months requesting our leaders follow the Catholic teachings for fair and just treatment of immigrants were presented to the Bishop for blessings.
