The Catholic Green Initiative of Santa Clara County Invites you to join us at the 2nd Annual Town Hall Meeting on Environmental Stewardship:
The gathering will focus on the theology of stewardship, how it is central to our Christian heritage, and why it must be a Catholic concern. We will also discuss how to engage and activate your parish and your community It will include breakout sessions discussing how we can act in environmentally conscious ways. All attendees will be asked to prayerfully consider how to commit to action plans determined by the collective voice of this group. Our Catholic Social teaching impresses upon us that nature is not something to exploit but is God's creation to preserve. We are called to celebrate the splendor of God's handiwork, to be good stewards of the earth and to safeguard the integrity of all creation. Are you willing to join us on this important initiative?
When: Saturday, April 10, 2010, 8:00 am until 1:00pm
