The Catholic Green Initiative of Santa Clara County and the Council of Priest are asking all parishes to buy Green Bags. They ask all parishioners to make a covenant to not use paper or plastic when they do grocery shopping. The bags are only $1 each at large volumes so we are trying to get a large volume purchase. 

Please consider buying 500 for your parish and promoting this great project to be launched on Sunday, October 4, 2009 on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
