Filipino

In 1982, Bishop Pierre DuMaine, aware of the large population of Filipino Catholics in the diocese, had the vision of uniting the different Filipino groups. With that in mind, Bishop DuMaine established the Office of Filipino Ministry with Fr. Ben Manding as the Director.

Gay & Lesbian

The Diocese of San Jose sponsors a weekly Mass for Gay and Lesbian Catholics and their families and friends on Saturdays at 6:30 pm in the Chapel at St. Martin of Tours parish.

Hispanic

The Santa Clara Valley has one of the largest Hispanic populations in California. These Hispanic youth and young adults are taking on leadership roles in their families, schools, churches, and communities.
