THIRD YEAR:

Students, in consultation with their pastors, will choose an area of ministry from the courses offered.  These have included Catechetics, Catechumenate, Family Life, Life Care, Liturgy, Pastoral Care, Presiding at Funeral Vigils, Small Faith Communities, Spirituality, Social Justice, and Youth Ministry.

In addition, all third year students meet together for a general session five evenings during the year.  Among the topics that have been covered:

  • Detention Ministry
  • Evening of Reflection

  • Ethics in Ministry

  • Facilitation

  • Liturgy in a Multicultural Setting

  • Parish Nursing Program

  • Pastoral Plan

  • Stewardship
