As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10
The gift of self is one of the greatest you can share with others. Volunteering in your parish and/or school is a rich opportunity to share your time and talent with others. Take advantage of the myriad opportunities to become more deeply involved in your parish and/or school – teach in a catechetical/sacramental preparation program, be a lector, join the choir, provide hospitality, organize and staff social and fund-raising events, provide outreach to the poor and homebound, serve on an advisory body – there is away for you to serve! Enrich your faith and your life by participating fully in the life of your parish and/or school.
“Once one chooses to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, stewardship is not an option”
Bishop John J. McRaith
