Subscription Information
The Valley Catholic has two subscriber categories: the self-paid subscription and the Parish Plan subscription.
Criteria for The Valley Catholic Parish Subscription
Plan
The Valley Catholic Parish Subscription Plan provides an opportunity for all registered households in the Diocese of San Jose to receive the newspaper at their homes by mail every month through the generosity of their parish. According to criteria affirmed by the Council of Priests, parishioners are to be on the Parish Subscription Plan if they are donors to the Annual Diocesan Appeal; if they are recognized donors to the parish; if they are volunteers, employees or organizational leaders at the parish, school or a parish program; if they are retired or confined to home; if they contribute at least $50 annually. The regular self-paid single subscription price is $17 per year, but parishes pay significantly less than that per Parish Plan subscription. Parishioners are encouraged to inquire at their parish office about receiving The Valley Catholic via the Parish Subscription Plan.
