Condolences to the Members of Focolare on the Death of Chiara Lubich

Bishop Patrick J. McGrath, Bishop of the Diocese of San Jose in California, wishes to convey his sincere sympathy to all the members of Focolare on the death of your foundress, Chiara Lubich.  In conveying his own condolences, he also conveys the condolences and prayerful support of the clergy, religious, and laity of the Diocese of San Jose at this very difficult time.  By her deep faith and obvious charism, Chiara Lubich contributed greatly to our Church.  The Diocese of San Jose is grateful for her life.  She will be greatly missed.
