Order the Roman Missal at special diocesan discount prices

In coordination with Jim del Biaggio of the Cathedral Gift Shop, the Office for Worship is offering the parishes, schools, religious houses, and worshiping communities of the Diocese of San Jose the opportunity to advance order the new Roman Missal at specially discounted prices.

The new English translation of the Roman Missal will be produced for the United States by seven different publishing companies. The Office for Worship is recommending the editions printed by three of these publishers, based on quality of pages and covers; clarity and aesthetics of print, chant notation, and artwork; pricing value; and familiarity of page layout.

The three recommended publishers are:

• World Library Publications

(This recommendation in no way prevents communities and individuals from purchasing and using editions from any of the seven publishers.)

Books will be delivered to the chancery after October 1 and distributed at that time. You will be contacted once your order arrives. Payment is due at the time of pick up of order in October. If your diocesan parish is experiencing extreme financial hardship and cannot afford any of these available editions, please inquire with Diana at DMacalintal@dsj.org about possible financial assistance.
