Mission Statement
Presentation High School is a college-preparatory, secondary school for girls whose purpose and dedication flow from the teaching mission of the Roman Catholic Church and the educational ministry of the Sisters of the Presentation. In order to be faithful to its purposes, the school recognizes the following beliefs must be the foundation upon which all goals, objectives, programs, and procedures are developed and are continually evaluated. That education consists in the harmonious development of the whole person -- her religious, intellectual, volitional, aesthetic, emotional, and physical powers. That although faith is a gift from God, it is capable of growth and must be nurtured to maturity in harmony with the stages of human development. That Gospel values are best taught and internalized in the supportive atmosphere of a Christian community where the professional educators and staff along with the students and their parents evidence commitment to school goals and Gospel values. That the work of education is the work of empowering individuals to reach their full potential as human beings, to make responsible decisions as individuals and members of the human community and to assume their full stature in today's society. That the school is an active institution which must be a dynamic force in bringing about the implementation of Christian principles in the social sphere. http://www.pres-net.com
